Ferns of Hope Yoga

The story of the fern

Ferns (official name Pteridophyta) represent the relentless push to exist even in the darkest of places. Being ancient and global, ferns bring us back to something within ourselves both bigger than us and beyond our point in time. A bit of hope. And that’s the space we’re trying to cultivate here with yoga.

“Maybe the journey isn’t so much about becoming anything. Maybe it’s about unbecoming all the things that aren’t really you so you can be who you were meant to be in the first place.”

  • Sierra - Fellow Yoga Teacher

Every yoga class with Natalie is an opportunity to go deeper into the physical, mental and spiritual aspects of one’s yoga practice. Natalie offers grounded, yet uplifting energy to her yoga teachings. Her classes and posture sequences are skillfully constructed, and she is a loving guide offering words of wisdom and insight as you move through them. I always leave Natalie’s classes feeling better than when I started. I can’t recommend her enough!

  • Nancy - Studio Owner

Natalie has been an integral part of the Mother Yoga Community located in the international district of Chinatown Seattle. After graduating from our 200 hr YTT, Natalie was eager to start teaching right away. A sign of a truly earnest and inspiring teacher. Her classes were grounded in authenticity, creativity and true yogic wisdom. She was vital to the growth of our studio, community of students and the sharing of dharma for the greater good of all. We were so sad to see Natalie move on from Seattle but have no doubt that her light is needed in so many parts of this world. She is invaluable to our community and whomever is lucky enough to work with her through the path of yoga is truly blessed.
